STD program associated with Sustainable destination leveling; the importance of guidelines/ standard of sustainable tourism destinations to implement sustainable tourism principles. Identification, Showcase, Motivation, Appreciation, Promotion.
Focusing a number of tourism destinations to be the monitoring locations of sustainable tourism implementation, conducted by the designated Monitoring Centre (MCSTO) MCSTO is an institution (University/Research Center) that monitors the economic, socio cultural and environmental impacts from tourism through the use of STD guidelines, provides advocacy and evaluation of sustainable tourism indicators on destination level.
Certification program for successful destinations implementing/ practicing sustainable tourism indicators. Conducted by CB ISTC accredited by KAN and recognized by GSTC. Certification scheme available; Certified Destination, Certified Accommodation, Certified Tour Operator, Certified Tourism Village, Certified CHSE.
Connecting STI with the sustainable production and consumption, green/ sustainable value chain application, green financing/investment and sustainable blended finance & incentive. The program will steer the sustainable tourism principles’ quality and standard of business/ industry into the entire business ecosystem chain of tourism
Pushing the agenda of sustainable strategies of segmenting. Targeting & Positioning the green, eco friendly and climate friendly travel. Marketing and promotion practices that are integrated and able to strengthen awareness and attention to climate change issues in harmony with sustainability principles.
Empowering policy and governance, strategy/ action plan, visitors management, carrying capacity, managing dynamic conservation issue, climate change, biodiversity and sustainable management model.
